I'm proud to share that I've been recognised by Metropolitan Weddings as a Best of 2025 winner in two categories — Bridal Choice and Supplier Choice.
These awards mean the world because they come from couples and fellow professionals. Thank you to every couple who trusted me with their day.
What these two categories actually mean
Bridal Choice is voted on by couples themselves — the people I've actually worked with, on the best and most stressful day of their lives. Supplier Choice comes from other wedding vendors: planners, venues, florists, the people who see a lot of photographers in action and know who actually shows up, works well with a team, and delivers. Winning both feels different than winning either one alone — it means the work holds up from both sides of the wedding.
Why I'm sharing this here, not just on social
I don't chase awards for their own sake. But recognition like this — from Springfield and the four-state region — tells me something useful: that the emotion-first, unposed approach I've built my whole career around is actually resonating, not just with me, but with the couples and professionals I work alongside.
Thank you
To every couple who let me into their wedding day over the past year, and to the other vendors who've trusted me enough to recommend me to their own clients — this recognition is really yours. I'm looking forward to whatever 2026 has in store.
If you're planning a wedding in Springfield or the Ozarks and want a photographer with this kind of track record behind them, I'd love to hear your story.
