I shoot for real moments, not perfect poses
I've photographed more than five hundred weddings across seven countries, and the thing I care about most hasn't changed: catching what's actually happening, not staging what should happen. That means fewer forced poses and more time spent watching for the moment a look passes between you that neither of you will remember happening — until you see the photo.
What a day with me looks like
I keep my presence light. I'd rather move quietly through the room and let the day unfold than direct every minute of it. That said, I do build a real timeline with every couple beforehand, so we're not scrambling for light or missing a moment because no one planned for it. Structure where it helps, and otherwise staying out of the way.
Why Springfield, MO
This region — the Ozarks, downtown Springfield, the surrounding venues — is where I've built my whole career, and I know its light, its seasons, and its best backdrops well enough to plan around them instead of hoping for the best on the day.
