What it's like to photograph a wedding at Greenhouse Two Rivers
The glass pavilion is one of my favorite rooms in the Ozarks to shoot inside. Floor-to-ceiling glass pours soft, directional light across the entire ceremony aisle from about 2pm until sunset — no harsh shadows, no mixed color temperature, just clean natural light that wraps around every face. For Katie and Mark's wedding we timed the ceremony so the sun was dropping behind the trees as they said their vows, which gave the aisle that golden back-light you see throughout the gallery. After the ceremony we walked out to the field for couple portraits in the last 20 minutes of golden hour — that soft, warm Ozark light is the venue's signature, and planning the timeline around it is non-negotiable.
